Housing Register Applications

The wait time for assessment is between four and six weeks for new applications. We will contact you once your application has been assessed.

You will have received a list of actions via your account advising you to upload the necessary evidence and supporting documents at the time of submission.

If for any reason applicants are unable to provide all documents, a period of up to 20 days can be allowed for further documents to be provided.

Homelessness application processing delays

We are currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries and aim for an officer to contact you within 4 working days.

If you are homeless within the next 7 days or are homeless now, you should ring our advice number on 01305 221000 urgently

Here you will be able to:

apply for social housing
register as homeless
tell us about your current housing situation
tell us about a change in circumstances

Before you start your application you will need to create an account, this means you will need an email address. Once you have created an account you will receive a confirmation email. You will then be able to apply for help with your housing.
